Piazza Italia’s new Bar
Opened in November 2018
Located next door to Piazza, Bar Rione is a neighborhood bar that offers craft cocktails, wine and small plates.
Attention is paid equally to the selection of quality spirits and the best wine Italy has to offer, with a focus on small, family owned vineyards and natural wines.
Wine pours are changed weekly and a wide , unique selection is offered by the glass to help customers become familiar with the diverse assortment Italy has to offer.
The cocktail list and spirits are carefully selected and managed by the well known bartender Lucy Brennan, formally from Mint & 820 ( lucybrennancocktails). A long time Piazza customer, she volunteered her expertise and helped us put together a quality cocktail list, using the freshest ingredients, that she changes periodically.
Finally, the food! Piazza Italia’s chef J. Moss and co-owner Brian Schettini ( who also manages our wines), put together a menu that compliments the wines and drinks being offered while paying homage to traditional Italian small plates. Perfect to share with friends or combine to make a great meal. Baked lasagna is offered for those craving pasta. also available GF
Rione is also a great place to host a small cocktail or private event with food options provided from next door.
